The World federation of Advertisers (WFA) was established in order to provide a unique network to help advertisers navigate the global marketing landscape through sharing knowledge and working methods, to help achieving maximum effectiveness and efficiency of marketing communications and facilitate good practice and take a leadership role on key marketing issues, globally and locally.
This was achieved by the working groups of WFA – The Media Committee, WFA Global Communications Procurement Action Group (COMPAG), The Sponsorship Taskforce and The Digital Network. The main objectives of these working groups are:
- to share experience, best practice and benchmark performance versus industry peers
- to save time by cutting out much ‘trial and error’
- to expose members to emerging trends and challenges that can impact their activities
- a great networking opportunity – these groups are for advertisers only, no media owners or agencies
